Privacy notice

This notice explains how CEREHIS processes personal data when you use this website, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter or participate in our activities.

2. Purposes and legal bases

Website operation and security: necessary technical data and server logs, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cookieless website statistics: page address, date and a daily pseudonymous identifier derived from request metadata are used to count visits and course completions. We do not retain the full IP address or store analytics identifiers in your browser. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in evaluating and improving our educational website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Enquiries: responding to messages, based on pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) or legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Newsletter: sending news after your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by emailing us.
Events and educational activities: registration, organisation and required project documentation, depending on the circumstances under Article 6(1)(b), (c), (f), or your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Photographs and recordings: publication based on consent where requested, or our documented legitimate interest in reporting on public activities where appropriate. You may withdraw consent or object.
Optional YouTube videos: embedded videos load only after separate consent.
Optional newsletter form: the Ecomail form is enabled only after separate consent; subscription itself requires an explicit newsletter consent.

3. Recipients and international transfers

Data may be processed by providers supporting website hosting and security, ECOMAIL.CZ, s.r.o. after the newsletter form is enabled or submitted, and Google/YouTube only after YouTube videos are enabled. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive data where required by law. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using applicable safeguards. 4. Retention

We keep data only for as long as necessary: ordinary correspondence generally for up to two years after closure; newsletter data until consent is withdrawn, while evidence of consent may be retained for legal claims; event records for the period required by contracts, funders and law; cookie choices for 12 months; daily pseudonymous analytics identifiers for no more than 90 days; and photographs or recordings for the stated purpose, subject to applicable withdrawal or objection rights. Anonymous aggregate visit counts may be retained for long-term comparison.

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@cerehis.sk. You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

We update this notice when our services or processing change. The current version is always published on this page.
