CEREHIS at the Harmony for Europe seminar in Leuven
Zdenka Bencúrová represented CEREHIS at an international TCA seminar focused on democratic participation, European values and citizenship education.
From 8 to 11 September 2026, CEREHIS director and project manager Zdenka Bencúrová attended the international TCA seminar Harmony for Europe: Civic Engagement and EU Values through Erasmus+ – From Common Values to Concrete Actions in a Living Democracy in Leuven.
The event brought together approximately 55 participants from different areas of education. Its central themes included democratic participation, shared European values, civic engagement, education for European Union citizenship and fundamental rights.
The programme combined expert input with practical activities. It included philosophical dialogue on democracy and justice, work with controversial topics, an EU Values Escape Game, project laboratories, networking and the joint development of new project ideas.
For CEREHIS, taking part created an opportunity to exchange experience and build partnerships for future projects connecting education, democracy, cultural heritage and active citizenship.
